KatDaddy's didn't start as a business. It started as a calling.

I grew up in Quincy, Illinois, in a home where food meant connection. We didn't rush meals. We didn't eat in silence. We gathered. We talked. We laughed. We cared for each other. I didn't know it then, but those moments were shaping the way I would one day serve people.

As I got older, cooking became my way of showing love. I'm not the kind of man who needs the spotlight, but give me a skillet and a handful of spices, and I can speak to the soul.

People kept asking the same questions: "What seasoning is that?" "What did you put on this?" "Can I buy some?" At first I brushed it off — I wasn't trying to build a brand, just make good food for the people I loved. But the more I cooked, the more I realized: I wasn't just seasoning food, I was crafting flavor.

So I began blending intentionally — studying ingredients, balancing heat, citrus, herbs, and aromatics, removing salt so the flavor could stand on its own, refining until each blend had a purpose. And that's when the Core 7 came to life.

The Core 7

Each of my seven core blends carries a piece of my story:

I didn't rush them. I crafted them the way a pastor crafts a sermon — with patience, intention, and heart.

What I Believe

I believe flavor is ministry. I believe hospitality is a form of service. I believe a good meal can soften a heart, open a door, and strengthen a home. And I believe seasonings should be clean, bold, honest, and crafted with purpose.

KatDaddy's exists because I refuse to settle for shortcuts. No fillers. No gimmicks. No hiding behind salt — just pure, intentional flavor that honors the people who use it.
